Satsang Radio is a Leicester-based Hindu community radio service operated independently by Hindu Sanskar Charity. The station is built around Hindu religious, cultural and social values, with programming that includes Bhakti Sangeet, bhajans, satsang, devotional music, spiritual discussion, cultural awareness and community information. Rather than following a commercial music-radio format, Satsang Radio is designed around faith, seva and the needs of the Hindu communities it serves in Leicester and further afield.
The station has a strongly community-led character, with volunteers and presenters contributing devotional and cultural programmes throughout the week. Ramanbhai Barber presents Navrang Satsang, while Dimple Soni is heard on programmes including the Feel Good Bhajan Show, a Sunday programme built around uplifting bhajans and devotional music. The wider presenter team includes Mahesh Prasher, Narendra Waghela, Sajan Odedra, Jimesh Parmar, Kaushik Damani, Nayna, Dhruvi Hirani, Bhavna Chandarana, Kalyani Khera and other members of the station community.
Satsang Radio became a standalone service following a change in April 2025. Hindu Sanskar Charity had previously supported programming arrangements under the Sanskar Radio name, but now operates and sustains Satsang Radio independently. The service continues to broadcast for listeners in Leicester while also reaching Hindu audiences nationally and internationally, with live programming available through DAB digital radio and online on Radio Player UK.
Notable shows & presenters are:
- Ramanbhai Barber - Navrang Satsang: Presents Navrang Satsang during the weekday schedule, with Hindu devotional music, spiritual conversation and community-focused programming. The station has promoted the programme from 10am on Tuesday to Thursday.
- Dimple Soni - Feel Good Bhajan Show: Presents the Feel Good Bhajan Show every Sunday from 11am to 2pm, with uplifting bhajans and devotional music designed around spiritual reflection and a positive start to Sunday.
- Dimple Soni - Monday Morning Satsang: Also appears on Monday morning programming from 7am to 10am, bringing live satsang, Bhakti Sangeet and devotional content to the start of the week.
