Harborough FM is one of the established community radio stations in the East Midlands, with roots going back to 1994 and a full-time launch in 2007. It was created to give Market Harborough, South Leicestershire and nearby parts of North Northamptonshire a genuinely local service, rather than leaving the area dependent on broader regional output that could never fully reflect day-to-day community life.
