Kingdom FM launched in October 1998 and spent more than 26 years broadcasting specifically for the Kingdom of Fife. In January 2025, owner DC Thomson retired the Kingdom FM name and brought the service into the Original 106 network as Original 106 Fife. The station retained its Kirkcaldy base, Fife FM frequencies and locally focused breakfast programme.
Original 106 Fife plays a broad mix of familiar pop, rock, soul and classic hits, ranging from established favourites to more recent releases. Alongside the music, listeners hear Fife news, traffic and travel updates, weather, competitions and information about events and communities across Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Glenrothes, St Andrews and the East Neuk.
The station broadcasts on five FM frequencies across Fife and on DAB Digital Radio across Central Scotland. Its weekday schedule includes a breakfast programme produced for Fife, followed by presenter-led daytime, afternoon and evening shows carrying locally tailored travel information, advertising, news and other content for the area.

- Dave Connor and Vanessa Motion — Dave & Vanessa: Dave and Vanessa present the weekday breakfast show live from Fife between 6am and 10am. Both presenters grew up in Fife, and their programme combines favourite music with local news, sport, travel, competitions and conversation about stories affecting the area.
- Martin Ingram — Weekday Mornings: Martin Ingram presents weekdays from 10am until 2pm. His programme includes familiar music and The Top 10 at 10, which revisits the biggest songs and memories from two selected years.
- Craig Lumsden — Afternoons with Craig: Craig Lumsden presents the weekday afternoon programme from 2pm until 6pm. The show carries favourite music, competitions and regular travel information specifically for listeners across Fife.
- Lachlan McKenzie — Evenings: Lachlan McKenzie presents weekday evenings from 6pm until 10pm, keeping listeners company with a relaxed selection of familiar songs and presenter-led evening features.
