Peak FM Redirect to the new radio station Greatest Hits Radio North Derbyshire

Peak FM launched on 7th October 1998 under the Grand Central Broadcasting network, as Peak 107. In 2001, it was purchased by Forever broadcasting and promised a 50/50 mix of "Yesterday and Today"'s music.

In 2004, Forever Broadcasting sold Peak FM to The Wireless Group, who actually held onto the station right up until Bauer's takeover in 2019, which was confirmed in 2020.

Since then, Bauer have changed the name of the station completely and its format to what we know today as Greatest Hits Radio. Studios were moved to Leeds, but local out-puts (advertising, news and traffic) were retained.
